Hi, I am creating eLearning for systems training and using the recording functionality to record those simulations. I then import that recording using the step by step mode. This works perfectly for eLearning but when I want to publish those simulations as user guides, all I get is a screen print of each slide with the captions on the screen. In other tools I have used, I am able to publish the simulation and the text in the captions are just published as text below the screen. This makes it much easier for creating guides as you can edit the text appropriately for a guide. Is there anyway I can do this in Storyline 2?
But you have to copy and paste to the notes area don’t you? Also you still get the caption showing on the screen shot if you do it that way which you can’t remove once its published to word.

You can add the text on the captions to the Notes area.
Then, when you publish for Word, check the box to "Show Slide Notes".

Yes, that's correct -- you'll still have to copy and paste the text into the notes area.
