How do you create a video screencast in mp4 format in Storyline just so it will open in Windows Media Player. Has anyone ever done this before? Thanks for your help!
After recording your video you'll want to insert it into your project as "Video on a single slide". This should cause Storyline to render the video as mp4 when you publish for web.
Thanks for your help, Brian. I followed your instructions but the final output is still a SWF file and it opens up in a web brower instead of Windows Media Player. What is it I am doing wrong?

Hey Jin!
Do you just want to export the screen recording to MP4 and save the file outside of Storyline? That's easy
Peter, thank you very much! It worked! Gosh....I would not have known that it is so simple.....
Sweet! Glad to hear it, Jin!
yes, another feature I was not aware of, really like the way it makes it easy to export these
