Creating your own custom lightbox effect

May 25, 2012

Here's how you can create your own lightbox effect using slide layers, animation and triggers. If you're looking for more control over how objects display and load, this might be a good solution.

Keep in mind that this effect will be specific to the slide you build and can't be referenced at any time like a true lightbox slide.

I built a custom lightbox that faded in and had some other animations - it looked really cool. However, when I returned to the base layer and came back to the lightbox for a second time, none of the animations worked. The content all dropped in immediately.

Is there a way of making custom lightboxes fully animate even when returned to multiple times?
