Cross-Device Progress Tracking

I am seeking advice on the way Storyline 2 handles cross-device progress tracking specifically when switching devices. The context of the question is a SCORM 2004 3rd edition course hosted in a LMS.
E.g. Starting on an iPad/iPhone then completing the lesson on a PC or Mac or vice versa.
Do I need to ensure the LMS has this capability or does the SCORM standard handle all the progress tracking?
My main concern is that SCORM is a browser based technology and this may influence the capability of the LMS to provide cross-device progress tracking because it may be recorded in separate sessions.
Please advise your thoughts.

Hi, David -- As long as learners are logging into the LMS, it should track no matter what type of device they are using to access the course (and that is also assuming that the 'resume where left off' feature is being utilized). Hope that helps! :)
Thanks Christie.
This is what I have presumed in the past but I have previously experienced problems regarding this issue. The problems may have been related to Internet Explorer rather than the LMS.
Anyone else care to verify?

Hi, David -- Sure thing, and I invite others in the community to chime in with their thoughts, for sure. And just so you have it for your reference, here is our document on System Requirements and Supported Browsers.
