Cursor freeze when recording screen

I just found something out about screen recording on Windows 7 and thought I'd share it.

I was experiencing a problem using the Record Screen function, where the mouse cursor would freeze as soon as I clicked anything on the application I was recording.  The record would continue, but you couldn't see the cursor /pointer moving.  I was trying to record to insert Step by Step slides, and this made this fail.

The solution:

On Windows (Vista and above), if the application you are recording is "Running as administrator" and Storyline is not, then the cursor freezes after the first click when recording the screen. This makes inserting as step-by-step slides fail. The solution is to run Storyline with administrator privileges (Right-click on the icon and choose 'Run as administrator') and then record the screen.
