I was wondering if this is possible.. so far I have not been able to find anything to help me do this..
I plan on having cards laid out on the bottom of the screen, when rolled over the selected card would slide up showing more text on it, or can say "click for more info" and will go to another slide or layer... any idea if this is possible?
You could do this with States. The 'Normal' state would be the card and the 'Hover' state would show the more of the card with the text, including a clickable link to whatever you need.
in order to do that, would you need to convert the object into a "button" to use the states? if so how should that be done?
To use the states you don't need to use buttons. You can add states to almost anything. Select the item, click on the state Tab to the bottom. You can then add states or edit existing states.
Sorry, this is because I have hidden object from the base layer when hovering.
In fact, to make it work that way, it would be better to use a hotspot and to hide manually the text box of the base layer when the FMI layer is showing. Does it make sense to you?

Sorry, I saw that you could apply an entry animation, but it doesn't seem to take. Hmmm...

Hi Corey,
Not quite sure if I understood what you meant so, starting from what I read I made this little slide.
Tell me if this is what you need.
Don't hesitate to post back if you need further information.
Have a nice day!

you got the right idea, however the example you gave did not work.
