We use custom colors a lot in our courses. Is there an easier way to access/change the selection of these colors without having to click into the "More Colors..." drop-down menu item? It seems there should be an easier way to quickly switch these colors.
This does not satisfy my need. I do not want to permanently affect my theme colors but want to be able to access often used custom colors that I use to accentuate certain blocks of text. I see no reason why a "Custom Colors" bar could not also be added.
I have included a quick mock-up for your consideration.
Yes, that I found already. But is there a short-cut to the custom color panel? It would safe a lot of time when working on 1 specific project with colors provided by the client.
Another idea that I hope will help is to utilize the Quick Access Toolbar. As an example, you can add the shape fill icon to the quick access toolbar for easier access by:
Mmm, thanks for the answer, but to be honest: this does not really give me a solution.
I need the colors mostly for text edditing. So if I need a custom color, now I have to go to dropdown of A, then to "More colors", then select the color, and then press "ok". It would be nice if the custom colors could be added to a bar like "standard colors", to make access quicker, like in PowerPoint: it is called "recent colors (recente kleuren in Dutch)": see printscreen. Is there anyway to select custom colors faster for text? Or is this planned as a new feature in the future? It would be sooo handy to do this quicker!

Hi Tanner
have you looked at setting up theme colours?

Hi Tanner
you'd need to submit a Feature Request directly with Articulate not on the forum
Submitted but I am really surprised there is nothing already in the application to make accessing the custom colors easier.
Thanks Tanner for sending in that feature request!
Hi!
I've been searching for the exact same thing! Is this feature already available? It would come in very handy!
Kind regards, Sofie
Hi Sofie!
Thanks for checking in!
You can find custom colors in the More Colors sections, which are found in anytime you need to format an object. Here's a quick look at the different places custom colors show up in Storyline 360.

Hi Sofie,
Outside of what has been shared here, I'm not aware of any additional workarounds.
I do see that Tanner submitted a feature request and I've just submitted one on your behalf as well.
I wanted to share some information about how we manage these feature requests as that may be helpful.
