custom drag and drop - can't hide dropped state

Sep 11, 2014

Hi there,

I wonder if someone can help. I have created a custom drag and drop interaction(see below)

On selection of the submit button, previously hidden shapes and text becomes visible. Despite the fact that these previously hidden layers are layered above the drag items, the drag items are still displaying after the submit button is selected.

I can't create a trigger to hide the numerical entry boxes so I'm wondering if there is another way. This only becomes a problem when the item is dragged to it's new location. If I simply complete the numerical entry items and click submit, it works fine.

Many thanks in advance,

Alex

Hey there Alex,

I ran a little experiment and, regardless of trigger order, I get what you get: hidden elements are shown BEHIND dropped items, even if they are at the top of the stack on the slide. It looks like dragging an item brings it to the front (top), regardless of what order objects are in in the original slide. In fact, if you play with dropping items on top of other dropped items, the last item you grab/drop is always in top.

However, placing items you want to reveal on a new layer *should* work. Are you saying that dropped items display above new layers?
