I'm using custom navigation buttons and have found that on graded questions I can make the buttons visible on the feedback layers and they work fine. However, on freeform questions the buttons on the feedback layers don't work.
Has anyone else had this problem and how can it be resolved? I've tried pasting new buttons onto the feedback layers and while this works, I think it's messy.
Would you be able to share a copy of your .story file for us to take a look at? If the buttons are on the layers, I can't envision how the question type is making a difference. Just even a sample with one graded question slide that works and then another freeform slide that doesn't would be good to look at.
Hi Anne! That's exactly what it is as the trigger is based on the user clicking that continue button. I slid the button back over to the previous/next buttons (since you had them set up to behave the same anyway) and disabled the 'states' so the user cannot see the hidden button.
Hi Leslie, thanks. I see how that works, however, the continue button won't show the hover state of the buttons underneath. Is there anything that can be done about that?

Hi Ashley,
Here's an example. I'm wondering if the 'Continue' button (which I can't delete so have just moved off the slide) is causing the problem.
Thanks.

Hi Anne,
It looks like once you've submitted the question the elements are in a disabled state so that the user can't change them on that slide itself.
