The reason I asked the previous question was that the "never resume" function didn't seem to be working.
It turned out to be an issue with Google Chrome. Chrome keeps it's own cookie, I guess, which triggers Storyline to allow the "Resume" screen to appear. Kinda sucks as I just want users to always start from the beginning.
This automatic Resume prompt does not seem to appear in Safari.
The course is launching for me in the Articulate Mobile Player. Is that what you are seeing as well? This course, when launched, looks the same to me on my Android tablet and my iPad because of this.
On my computer, the course looks the same in Chrome and Safari for me as well.
Can you share some images of what I'm looking for? I'm not seeing any prompt to resume and they are starting over as you mentioned wanting.
I am not sure I would know Mobile Player if I saw it.
I am using my desktop PC, Windows 7.
In Chrome, if I start by clearing the history, the course functions without the Resume Prompt. If I progress one slide in to the course and then reload, the Prompt appears (and functions as it should - don't ever want it, though). If I clear Chrome history, all is well again. Please see attachments.
Just to throw a little more into the mix, I use a CloudProxy Website Firewall. Shouldn't do anything as I clear the cache a zillion times when developing.
I think I figured it out. It had something to do with saving custom settings in the player file, I think, anyways.

Hi Robert!
Where are you seeing this behavior? If the latest Chrome with Windows, Mac, or Android - we may need to take a look.
You mention Safari though, so please note that Chrome is not supported on iPad. System requirements can be found here.
Hello Leslie,
Thanks for your reply.
I am definitely seeing two different behaviours in Chrome (Version 48.0.2564.109 m) and Safari (5.1.7).

Very Interesting Leslie,

In Safari, all is well completely.

Hi Robert! Thanks for the images. I do believe I was missing what was happening because I assumed mobile and I was answering the question.
So, I took a look from my PC - and I am seeing the prompt to resume in both Chrome and Safari.
Would you be able to share a .story file for me to take a look? If you cannot share here in the forums, please share here privately.
We need to confirm your resume settings and try to replicate.

Thanks again.

I cannot seem to reproduce the previous issue. Must have been a glitch on this end.
All is now well, thank you

Robert
Glad to hear it Robert. I appreciate you popping in with an update.
Leslie,
Sorry to have troubled you.
Suppose it's good sometimes just to have someone to bounce things off of.
Have a good one,
Robert
No trouble at all Robert!
