custom question and score

So what I want to do is this

1) Play a video when slide appears

2) Put a hotspot over video to prevent pausing by click.

3) Add hotspots over bits of a video that come and go as things appear in the video. Basically if a hazard appear on the video the user clicks on the hazard.

4) The hotspot adds one to the hotspot variable to show its been clicked used in the condition above to prevent duplicate scoring.

5) The back ground hotspot takes away 0.3 (to prevent cheating).

6) Finally the completed score is handed to a free form question somehow on custom next button or video end.

I think I have figured out how to do the first . So its just help with transferring the variable to a hidden score question would be great.
