Custom restricted navigation

Jan 23, 2017

Hello everyone,

I'm working on custom navigation in my project. It includes next and previous buttons. The navigation will be restricted, the next button state is 'disabled' until the timeline gets to a cue point or the end.

I want to make every slide to reset to initial state, so the user can revisit slides and watch animations and layers from the start again.

When I revisit a slide, the next button resets to 'disabled'.

Do you know how to make the next button state 'normal' automatically when I revisit a slide.

It will be great if your solution won't have many variables. I want to make it a one slide template.

I can't share my project.

Thank you,

Yuval.

Thank you very much for the quick response Dave :)

This solution is good, but the problem is that you need to change the setting of the variable each slide (CurrentSlide = 1, 2, 3...).

I need it to be a template that has the same triggers on each slide. so when i want a new slide i wont have to change each setting.

Hi Yuval,

Actually, there are 3 settings that must be updated to match the slide number of every slide. Although it is easy enough to do, you can update them from the trigger list, I agree it would be better if there was a way to set them up where they didn't need to be updated for every slide. So far though, I haven't been able to come up with a better solution. If you can work something out, I would be very interested in hearing about it.
