Custom slide menu - need help with trigger

Apr 21, 2014

I have a menu on my slide that has three states: Not started, incomplete and complete. (see image below)

When the learner selects the topic the incomplete status is displayed...if they return to this menu at any time before the end of the topic, the incomplete status is displayed.  Once they finish the topic, the complete status (tick) is displayed.

My issue is the client wants the complete tick to be retained if the learner revisits this topic once it has been completed the first time.  As you can see, mine keeps reverting to incomplete state.

I am not sure of how to retain the complete status for the topics that have been visited and completed.

Anyone help?

Hi Ajay,

Are those three states all custom states? Using the same method as the .story file above gives in regards to variables, I'd recommend using the built-in Normal state as Not Started, the built-in Visited state as Incomplete, and using True/False variables to set a Complete state.
