One setting to check. If you are using Storyline's built-in player and just customizing the colors, try adjusting the colors for the glossary in the advanced settings. Select "advanced color editing" under the Color scheme drop-down. In the Edit item drop-down, change the colors for glossary.
It looks like that was fixed in the most recent Update 5 of Storyline.
