I have a problem with the Player look of Storyline 2. I use my own navigation so I disabled all "prev" and "next" Buttons. I use a menu on the left side and want my course slide to take all the space at the bottom where this Buttons usuwally would be, so that it is in one line with the menu. Strangely it works with me not doing anything in a course that I upgraded from Storyline 1, but not with my Storyline 2 course.
I added a screenshot to illustrate this more closely. Above the line is the desired look, under the line what I get with my second course.
I just created a new story file in SL2 with your options and it works for me. See screenshot. I suggest you take a look in Storyview at the player properties and make sure all Prev / Next / Submit options for all slides are unticked...your image makes me think there might be a tick on somewhere that is making an allowance for the spacing - more likely a submit button in a quiz question.. If that doesn't work try creating a new SL2 file and importing your story file in. Hope this helps

I just created a new story file in SL2 with your options and it works for me. See screenshot.
