I am looking to set up a custom theme for storyline screencast projects I am creating. I would like to have captions be one color fill and text boxes another. I am not sure which Accent # connects to each separately.
Thank you Katie. This is a good start. In addition, what do the remaining Accent #'s point to? Also, I sent up a Custom Color Palette; how do I view this to see what I selected?
In the Design tab, under the Colors drop-down, you should be able to see your custom palette in the Custom section. Once you select your theme, whenever you insert a shape or object and Drawing Tools tab comes up, the Shape Fill drop-down will contain your selected theme colors making it easy to pick!
Thank you for your reply. I have seen what you forwarded me and it is not quite answering my question. I hope what I am asking makes sense...
Here is what I built - I would like to be able to open the "custom" up to see what I selected and be able to change (view the screen you see when you select to Create New).
Second part of my question: What shapes, etc. do each of the Accents point to? I have seen that Accent 1 points to my captions in a screencast. How do I point the other Accents to another shape i.e. a text box? I am trying to build consistent formatting from project to project.

Would you mind attaching those images again in this discussion using the "Add Attachment" button? After that, I'll be happy to take a more in-depth look!
I would like to be able to open the "custom color template I built (see Custom Colors attachment below) to see what I selected and be able to change (view the screen you see when you select to Create New). I may have figured this out. From the color drop down I right click on custom palette and selected Edit. This part I am good with now.
This I still need help with: Second part of my question: What shapes, etc. do each of the Accents point to? I have seen that Accent 1 points to my captions in a screencast. Hey there, Diane. Great question!
Here's a helpful guide on how to customize your screen recording captions – Accent 1 is the default fill color for shapes and captions.
Let me know if that helps!

Hi Diane!
Thank you for reattaching the screenshots! I see the custom theme that you're are referencing.
Actually, we have a description of which accent colors are associated with each element. You can find that here!
