I am experiencing something rather annoying and would be really grateful if someone can share a solution, as I am sure it's not as hard to resolve as it seems.
Here it is: I customized my player in SL 3 to look as in picture 1, but upon previewing and/or publishing it looks as in picture 2. On top of that, this grey ribbon, that I don't know how to remove, appeared at the top and bottom of the title slide.
From the two images, to me it looks like the png2 screen just has the Next/Prev buttons turned off, and that's why they don't appear.
The grey bars you mention are part of the slide, so, not sure if what you have on png2 is a video or an image? But, again from the two images, it looks as though your image or video doesn't cover the whole slide.
Are you able to share your file? I'd be happy to take a look.
Yes, I have switched those buttons off, and that's fine by me. What really bugs me is the huge, grey default scrollbar, that won't adjust to the changes I've made as well as these grey bars, that I don't have as elements on my slide and only appear on the first slide.
The issue is that the scrollbar cannot be edited unless published and previewed in a Flash compatible browser. So, nothing can be done at this point, unless the Articulate team gets around to solving this.

You can check the attached file for reference.
Hi Veronica,
I figured this out myself, no need to look further into it.
Oh, I was just about to take a look, that's great!
So, what was the issue?
