I am working on a series of screencasts that show people how to run various reports. Since the reports take up to 2 minutes to run, I can do some voiceover for a bit of that time, but I still find myself needing to cut 15-30 seconds out of the middle of the screencast. I know that I can trim at the front and back of the screencast, but I cannot find out how to cut out some of the screencast from the middle.
How would I save as/convert my existing screencast video as an MP4? I tried to Save As. I right-clicked on the video to see if there were any options. Maybe I should just get some more coffee. That might help.

Hi Bob,
In short - no.
You would need to save the screencast as an .mp4, then export out to a 3rd-partyapplication to do that.
Sorry!
Thanks.
Hi Bob! Glad that Bruce was able to assist you here, just let us know if you need anything further.

Ah....it is quite well hidden!
Go to "Record Screen", then select the screencast - THEN right click on it, and you should see the "Export" option.
Almost time for beer here
Thanks again Bruce! I'm with you Bob, caffeine is in order
