Data Entry backspace issue with CD Publishing.....Still

When you add a Data Entry box and publish for CD, the backspace functionality while typing in the text box does not work.  This issue came up with Update 2, and each new update leaves us still waiting for the fix.  With each new update, I'm told by Articulate that it's on the list for the next update.

3 updates and almost a year later, still no fix to this "show-stopping" issue.  The solution to my help ticket after Update 2 was to load an Update 1 version when it was time to publish.  I'm not sure that's a viable solution any more.

Can anyone shed some light on when this issue is going to be fixed?

Hi Andrew, 

This is documented as a known issue, and at this time the current workaround is to use either of the following options to avoid this behavior:

  • Place your mouse cursor before the text that needs to be removed, and use the delete key.
  • Publish for Web, LMS, or Articulate Online.

I'm sorry I don't have any further updates to offer.
