Currently we're not linked with an LMS for the course I'm creating.
What I am wondering is whether or not there is a way I can have a person enter their name, etc. and then use the name entered on an earlier slide to populate a field on a later slide.
I'd simply like to use the learner's name as they play their way through the eLearn.
Any thoughts or insights are welcome, even if that includes a javascript or a plugin of some kind to extract and reuse the data that a learner enters.
This is a common question and is quite easy to do with a text entry variable. I'm attaching a sample I just mocked up very quickly for you and also providing this link to a tutorial on Adding text variables, where David Anderson explains how to do this, provides a demo, and another source file for you.
Hi Phoenix! I wanted to welcome you to E-Learning Heroes as well. It looks like Becky is taking care of you here, so just let us know if you need anything further.
