Data not getting stored on LMS

Hello!

We have created a course with 76 slides (out of 24 are assessment questions). The course runs fine when we attempt the content pages and pass the assessment in first attempt.

The problem starts when learner fails the assessment first time and then passes it. On resume of the course, instead of launching the course from result page; it goes to some question of the assessment randomly and then resets the rest of the questions.

We tried changing the slide properties of all content slides to "Reset to initial state". However, it did not work.

We need to retain the assessment data and also the bookmark. Client might not allow us to reduce any content/slides from the course.

Any inputs on this would be great help.

For most any LMS-related issue, this blog post is the place to begin. You also want to be certain that you are packaging your published content properly for your LMS. Also, be certain that you have contacted the Support Team for your LMS, since they are best-equipped to work with the content hosted on their servers.

If you wind up empty-handed after reviewing the links above, I would next recommend comparing the performance of your content at SCORM Cloud.

If you cannot reproduce the problem there, this is likely an LMS-specific issue, and you will want to generate debug logs and supply them to your LMS Provider for additional troubleshooting.

If you see the same issue in SCORM Cloud, we may want to take a look at the file on our end. However, it does sound like the file is pretty large - the maximum file size for the forums is currently 20 MB. If you see this behavior in SCORM Cloud and the file is larger than 20 MB, please let me know. We can discuss other options for sharing the file.
