I would like to know is there any limit in the data-entry text box for characters. Maximum number of characters. Actually in one of my course i would like students to key in essay/ paragraph, I published it as SCORM object so that LMS could capture what students keyed in.
I haven't seen a maximum character count for the data entry fields, but if you were to insert them as a essay quiz, the limit is 5,000 characters, so I suspect the data entry is equal to or less than that. I haven't tried to stress it and see what happens, as a common use for the data entry fields is to call a variable later as described here which are typically shorter.
