Date on completion certificates

I am currently finishing an eLearning tool designed to publish on a USB. The tool has a completion certificate that will need to be either printed or emailed to training staff to confirm the training has been completed.

I have used text entry boxes for the participant's name and ID number, which populate onto the completion certificate. Whilst I could do the same for the date, I was wondering if there is a way for the date to automatically populate onto the completion certificate without the participant having to enter it?

Any assistance on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hi there, Miriam!  There isn't a way for Storyline to pull in the current date for the learner's session with your course. 

You mentioned that you're publishing your output for USB.  Are you publishing for CD and launching it locally?  If so, using a manually entered date will be the best way to go for your learners, since the content will be "offline."
