Decision Making/Pathway Issue

Hello everyone,

I am trying to create a decision making process/pathway for a user after they've made a decision but I couldn't seem to get it right.  

The scene: 

• Slide 1: User selects an option
• Slide 2: User then needs to get some information before starting the path chosen based on the options in Slide 1.
• Slide 3: After completing the information gathering slide, a resume button will appear and it will lead the user to the designated slides based on the chosen option on Slide 1.

I've tried playing around with a few variable but it doesn't work out. I'm not able to change the state of the triangle based on the variable set on Slide 1. It somehow only works for a particular state but does not work for the others. I can't seem to solve it. I've included the story file together with this post to have a better understanding of the situation. 

I hope someone could advice me on what I am doing wrong with the variables.
