Sorry for the trouble, Debra. You've ensured that the default controls for IE9 are set to include the address bar? Are you able to share a link here or privately so we can try to reproduce it?
The new window is not displaying a web object. I'm opening a new IE9 window.
After doing more experimenting last night, I've discovered the address bar appears just fine when I'm linking to the Internet, but does not appear if I'm linking to my company's intranet.
Interesting. Haven't seen that kind of behavior before. Are you willing to let us take a look at your file? We'd be happy to sign any non-disclosures, if necessary.

I'm now using IE9 and am still experiencing issues with not being able to see the Address bar when a new window pops up.
