Default function for the "Preview" button

I know that Ctrl+F12 on the keyboard previews the current slide and  Shift+F12 the current scene and that using the drop-down arrow below the Preview button, allows to select the current slide/view.

However, I tend to click the whole button instead of the small arrow, and i would like to have this default to previewing the current slide which i do much more frequently then the whole presentation.

Is that feasible ?
