Default length of time for new objects May 04, 2012 By Eric Nalian Is it possible to set a default for new objects to all be a certain amount of time? I am working on an a slide that is absurdly long and every new object is the entire length of time.

However, if you move your playhead in the timeline, new objects will be inserted at the start of the playhead. Hi Eric,
Objects that you add to your slide will default to the length of the timeline. However, if you move your playhead in the timeline, new objects will be inserted at the start of the playhead. For more information, see the screencast that I created:
