I am trying to find a way to pass a parameter in a web object called at the end of an e-learning module. Basically, I rename the story.html to story.php and add some authentication at the very top. No problem with that. In php I have the user id which I somehow want to grab when calling the web object later.
If I declare a JS variable in story.php, say var myUserId = "some data from php"; is there a change to retrieve it at a later stage and somehow use it as a request parameter in a web object URL...?
Hi Claes! This is certainly out of my wheelhouse of knowledge and we do not offer support for JavaScript, so hopefully someone in the community will be able to pop in and assist you here.

No worries Leslie, no one is omniscient... Seems like Matthew gave me a good start below.
Cheers!
Thanks Matthew, I will dig into this! At first I got some great memories from my favourite arcade game from the 70's - Space Invaders :)
Aw, thanks! I'm no match to this community and the plethora of knowledge that you have :) We appreciate you Matthew!
You've never been more right than here Matthew. ;-)
We couldn't do it without her - and with folks like you helping out in the community. It's always much appreciated especially the last week!
