Defining Variable as a Product Name or other content

I want to define a global variable within Storyline for a product name. These names can often change and I do not want to replace and this is NOT an text input enry. I want variable ProductName="x". I can create the content and then when product name is final, I go into SL file, set ProductName="Gary's Product" and all content references thru course are updated. Is this possible and if so, can someone point me to process?
