Delete button ?

Hi!  

The PREV and NEXT buttons can be removed by editing the slide properties.  While in Slide View, use the gear icon (see screenshot)  to open the properties pop-up.  You can then un-check the PREV and NEXT buttons to remove them from the slide. 

You can also edit these properties from Story View in the lower-right corner of the window.

Can you share a bit more about what you're looking to accomplish? This discussion is a bit older, so having a bit more info will help us offer you ideas and suggestions.
