Deleted audio feedback still continues to play. Oh no!
Aug 14, 2013
I initially recorded a "testing 1, 2, 3" message for my drag and drop feedback to test my mic levels. I then went back and re-recorded it. However, while I can play the new recording within the D&D editing mode, when I preview, the vanished "1, 2, 3" message continues to play! I can't figure out how to fix this, as the 1, 2, 3 message is literally no longer visible to me, as it has been deleted and replaced on the editing side. Yes, I have saved the drag and drop mode. Yes, I have saved the slide. Yes, I have closed and reopened Storyline. I'm baffled and missing Camtasia. Please don't make me go back to Camtasia.

Hi Susan:
Storyline caches stuff. I have had similar issues. The correction is to save, close SL, then reopen and the issue will be resolved.

Aloha--
I had already closed and reopened Stpyline, but I closed it and reopened it today (my whole computer was restarted for an update), but I still get the "testing 1, 2, 3" audio.

Hi Susan,
I replied to your other post here with the file, and I did hear that recording - it was on the "incorrect" layer, which has since been removed.
