I have a tutorial currently embedded in my LMS that is working great but I would like to update an mp4 file with a more recent version. I still have the zip file in my documents on my PC but it appears that I may have deleted the .story file. Is there anyway I can either make a change to the zip file or work backwards from the zip file to recreate the .story file so I can edit my original tutorial?
Unfortunately, Articulate doesn't support editing output files, but many of our community members have found ways of doing it. Maybe some of the Heroes can chime in on the conversation and provide some suggestions that may work for you.
I have a similar problem, but the story file did not generate on Publish. I can open the file from the Browse section on the home page, publish and create the output file and the zip file, but no .story file. Any suggestions?
you must have a story file if you can open it, it just isn't where you are looking if you look on the browse window and hover ir will give you the file path.

I am also wondering this as I've had my backups go awry and lost some project files. Has anyone recreated a .story file from the output files?
NO way to recreate a project from the output files, you can probably get some assets from the content folder
