Demo : Filling out forms
Apr 22, 2013
Hi all,
On many occasions I’m asked to create a course on filling out forms. So each time it’s the same old story. So I thought why not standardise it and create a template for it. The result can be found in the attached storyline file.
They idea simple. You have a slide with some text that explains the form and a button/hyperlink/… that opens the form as a lightbox slide. When working with lightbox slides, you do not have access to the notes, hence the show notes button below.
You can add hotspots to the pages so you can give more details on the left of the slide (try clicking on them)
This example is easily adaptable (more or less pages)…
Hope you’ll enjoy it

Sweet, thanks for sharing as always, Geert!
Thank you, I need something like this for a course I'm creating right now!
Sweet! I like it.
Hi, I wanted to check out this file as inspiration but couldn't open it. I don't have storyline. Have you ever come across anything similar in captivate?
Hi Mona,
No not that I know of.
What you can do is to download the trial version of SL and open the file as it is
You might not want to go back to captivate (which we had before)
Cheers

Much appreciated Geert. Your use of the Notes feature is very creative and gives me some new ideas. I also like the way you use the layers. Thank you for the link to your example. It was so helpful.
