Different Images based on a users choice

Jul 12, 2018

Hi we have a health based e-learning course and we would like the user to select where they work e.g pharmacy, dentist, hospital setting.

We would then like all of the images used in the course to reflect there choice so selecting dentist will change all images to dental ones and so on.

So I am wondering is there a way to do this using a trigger or something like that, e.g if answer is dentistry show dental pic.

The reason for this is we are currently updating the course three times with different images and when content and regulations alter we have to update the content three times as well. I am using Articulate Storyline 3 to build this.

Thanks

Michael

You could create a text variable that is initially set by the learner choice, e.g. "dentist". On each content slide have an image object with custom states. Add a slide trigger that changes state of the image object to state denstist when the timeline starts. Or, you could have several images on a slide, e.g. one image for dentist, another for pharmacy, etc. The initial state of these images is Hidden. Then add triggers to change the state of one image to normal. For example, change the state of images dentist to Normal when the timeline starts, if variable equals dentist.
