Hi, I am starting using Storyline after a long time using Articulate Studio, so I am a newbie with Storyline.
In Story view mode I have a scene with 18 slides. In edit mode I still see these 18 slides. Instead, when I am in preview mode I can only see 16 slides, but clicking next on all the slides I actually can see all 18 slides.
What is the reason because two slides seem to be hidden in preview mode?
You have a scene with 18 slides. But when you preview it you only see 16? Do you mean you only see 16 slides in the menu? If so, you're probably choosing to hide 2 of them.
In Player > Menu, you can choose which scenes/slides to display as well as change their order etc.
See below ... I have 4 slides in my scene., but my menu only shows 3 of them (the first, second and fourth slides) because I configured it this way. I can click the folder icon to add slide(s) of my choice, or the reset icon to replicate the scene/slide structure of my course in the menu.
in player->menu, I had all the slides on the left side (Menu), but on the right side (preview) I had less slides. Clicking the button" Reset from story", all the slides appeared also in the preview.
I'm glad that Simon was able to assist you here. It could have happened that the slides were hidden/deleted from the menu by accident, so using the rest button is a great way to get them back. You may also want to review this tutorial on working with the player menu.
