Difficulty in editting Data Input

Apr 04, 2017

I am trying to create a quiz where students type in answers in input boxes. However, after publishing the scene, the input boxes becomes extremely difficult to focus the cursor onto to trigger the 'I' prompt that allows typing. The prompt only appears when the cursor is over a very specific spot in the middle of the input box- making it very difficult to type anything into the box.

The input boxes are in no way too small, but strangely the prompt doesn't seem to trigger anywhere else when the cursor is over the input box.

Is there a setting that is preventing the Input boxes from detecting the cursor when hovered over?

Hi Wendy,

Thank you for taking your time to reply but I have actually found out what was causing it and managed to solve it.

It was really just a simple disarrangement of the textbox and input box, where by the textbox was arranged above the input box in the timeline. The textbox covered the entire slide and naturally covered the input box as well, causing the input boxs' triggers to be compromised.
