Digital Workbook

Oct 25, 2018

Hi,

I'm creating an elearning session where we currently have a pdf workbook for the user to fill in. Is there a way for this to be recreated in storyline? Ideally we would want the user to be able to come back into the session and view this workbook as and when they please, storing what they have entered previously. We intend to have a user go through a session which gives them actions to implement, implement those actions and then be able to come back into the session to enter more into their workbook.

Or at the very least is there a way to save any data entry from storyline rather than print it?

This may sound very far-fetched but i thought i would ask anyway.

That looks great russell! Does the session save the notes once they have been entered by the user? Thats the problem im trying to get around. It needs to act like a workbook that they can keep going back to with all their notes.

For example if this was incorporated into a session, and i were to complete that session, would there be anyway to go back and view the notes from the workbook? I hope that makes sense.

Hello Sam,

In the course that I made for the client, the workbook was setup as lightbox slide with a button on the master slide. The learner could open that lightbox and add notes at any time during the course. The learner could resume the course and their notes were still there.

Once the learner completed the course, they wouldn't be able to access the notes again.
