Is there an option to disable the audio in storyline? I would like to use a global boolean variable, that if set, disables all the audio files in the project.
Would this thread with the example from Nicole about disabling the audio based on visited state work for you? If not, could you explain a bit more about what conditions you would like the audio to not be included?
I read that thread before posting my query. The problem is that my e-learning solution has 78 slides and each slide has multiple layers and each layer has an audio file associated with it. To use a global variable and then disable each media with a trigger would be rather cumbersome at this stage. I was thus wondering if an easier solution exists.
That sounds like a lot of audio files to disable, I unfortunately don't have an easier solution for you. I read through a few more threads, and this one deals with audio on multiple layers and may provide some additional ideas, but I haven't run across any others with the global variable that you're looking for.
