I can't imagine watching the video for 30 minutes, and finding it doesn't change, and changing it, and watching ... So I imagine that you are previewing from the playhead, and I can't imagine that being a good representation of what will really happen. So here's my suggestion: Disable Next when timeline starts, and enable it when timeline reaches 30 sec. That provides a method of troubleshooting that is manageable. Then, when it works, it is a lot easier to just enter the time in the trigger than it is to try to set the cue point.
Give that a try. If you are not allowing the video to be stopped by having its own search bar, or by allowing clicking on the video, that should work. If not, try the triggers on a slide without the video, as the principle should work no matter what is on the slide. if that doesn't work, I'd reboot, if still no luck, then reinstall.

Hello - Can you show a screenshot of what your trigger would look like when setting it up? I cannot find the right wording. Thank you!
Look at Vivian's screenshot, only change the "when" from Cue point to time 1800 seconds.
