Is it possible to disable the Next and Previous buttons on a slide until all of the actions on a slide have completed? I have attached a sample slide on which I would like the slide actions to complete BEFORE a user can move from the slide but I can't see how to do it.
It's probably me just being old and useless!! Any help will be grateful received.
You could set up a true/false variable. Set it to false when the timeline starts and set it to true when the required items have been viewed. The you just need to add a condition to the 'jump to next slide' trigger that says 'jump to next slide if variable==true'.
You can add a condition to the Player Trigger that means it only works when certain conditions are met.
To do this I'd create another T/F variable, i.e .Pronunciation, and adjust it at the end of the last sound clip, then add a condition to the Player Trigger so it only works when the variable is True:
Paolo, see attached revise file. In your case, you want the slide to play completely, so I set a variable that is set to True once the timeline completes. The Next button has a condition that only jumps to next slide if this variable is true. I also restricted the navigation in the menu.
