Disable Results Silde

Jul 10, 2013

Hi team,

I made a little assessment in SL and allowed the users to answer questions in any order by using the side menu (Free nav). I had to make a 'blocker ' slide (with some variables) between the assessment and the Results slide because if i didn’t a user could potentially navigate to the last question, click submit then be directed to the Results slide (failing the assessment if no other questions were answered).

My problem now is that I’m doing the same thing but I’m now drawing from a question bank. I figured i would put a variable that increments by one when the user clicks submit. This is somewhat flawed because if a user clicks submit, but hasn't selected an answer, my variable is still increases by one...doh! (I’m not sure how to add a condition that the 'question has been answered'). The other option to do this is by using increasing my variable on the feedback layers - but i would have to do it for each layer, each question, and x50 questions.

So my question is - Is there a more elegant way to do this or has anyone got some suggestions on how to do this?

Apologies for the short story.

Cheers
