Firstly, I must say that the forum here is splendid ! Thanks for all the contributions, a great way to exchange learning !
I have a question that deals with the menu tabs. Suppose a learner has to complete 2 topics of a certain module. And upone completing his first topic can the menu tab be disable or if he mouse over that topic in the menu tab, it shows a layer that tells him that he has completed ?
I am using storyline 2. Thanks for the thread, will give it a try. In the
thread it mentioned that radio button is selected, if I am using an
inserted image for my tab will that be a problem?

I have just uploaded the file to dropbox and emailed you the link.
I added a tick to the state of the topic text box - called Visited. It is one of SL inbuilt states so you don't need a trigger with it - it automatically changes to that state when the user clicks it.
If you want to make them go in order - you can set Topic 2 and the Results to an initial state of Disabled. Then add a trigger to change the state of Topic 2 to normal when the state of Topic 1 is visited. If you don't understand what I mean - I can update your file and reload to dropbox for you - just let me know what behaviour you want.
1. Earlier on I attached the file to this address

receive it, may i know where does it goes to ? Coz hope the material I had
sent is kept private.
2. Is there a certification program for Articulate SL2 ? I am residing in
Spore.

Hi Noel
which version of SL are you using. You can change the state of your menu tab so the user knows that it has been visited or completed.
here is a post that may help you

Hi Noel
must be a size issue. If you use dropbox you could upload to a folder there and then invite me to share the folder using same email address
wfarmer@iinet.net.au
Ok, just shared through dropbox with you.

Got - just looking now. So they can click any topic in any order, but you want to have a visited state to show they have completed the topic.
Yes. Is there a possibility to control the order if i want to ?
Sure, you could use triggers for that, but your instruction says 'Click any of the topics to begin'
Yes, because I am not sure how to control that tag.
How should i go about getting the tag visited ? and what should I set under
the trigger if i want control over the tag ?
Thanks Wendy.

Thanks Wendy ! You are life-saver. I will wait for the uploaded file in
dropbox.
Ok - sending a second link where I have disabled Topics 2 and 3 until the previous one is visited.
Hope that helps
Cheers
Thanks Wendy ! I haven't received the dropbox link yet, is it due to file
size?
