Client wants all navigation driven by master slides. However, layers of current slide seem to be interfering with functionality of disabled next button on layer of master slide. How to correct this problem without creating navigation for the individual layered slide? See attached file.
Thanks for the effort! But in this version there is an additional "next" marker on the slide (atop the one from the slide master). The client wants all navigation controlled through the slide master. The other problem is that although the additional next marker is "gray," it is functional. In other words, the learner can advance to the next slide without hearing the entire audio track. Is there a way to control navigation through the slide master by disabling custom next buttons on layered slides?
got you here you go this is as close as I can it for you. Had to make changes to the layer prop if you go in to them you will see what I did. If its not right come back we will try again.
You have to have a way to change it back to normal from the content slide. There has to be a way to do this I'll keep trying and maybe somebody who knows more then I (Shouldn't be hard for that find those in here) will help us out and we will both learn something new.
Here you go Wendy I didn't notice the layers you had on the master slide and they were hiding it working. Here it is this should give you what you wanted.
In that file, the hover isn't functioning; also, the slide seems to truncate prematurely. However, I think I have it figured out! Once I unchecked the box on the slide layers that hid other layers, the layered functionality on the master template worked as was designed. I have attached the file.
Sorry to be a drag on your time, but I think we may have both learned something anyway!

Don't even bother it doesn't work
The layer on the main slide seems to be interfering with the functionality built into the slide master. Maybe a bug in Articulate?

Not a drag I enjoy learning new things. It helps me when my people ask for something I've never done for them.
