I love the Quizzify quiz template but have hit a snag - if someone answers a question wrong and receives an "X" on the Quiz Rectangle button, and then selects the same rectangle again, they can answer the question correctly, and then a checkmark appears over top of the "X"... How can I disable the button for that question, once it has been marked with an "X"?
Are you referring to this template? If so, I tried to reproduce the problem you described, but I wasn't able to. When I click on the button again I am redirected to the same question, but I can't answer a second time, therefore I am not seeing the checkmark overlapping the X.
Can you share your source file here? It would be easier if I could see your project. Thanks!
Hi Allison; That is indeed the correct template. Here is the Storyline file for the quiz that I created. Not sure what I did that caused the overlapping checkmarks and “X’s”…
I'm not seeing an attachement on your previous comment. Could you try attaching the .story file again?

I had a look at your file and the original template file, and it seems that the issue stems from the fact that the question slides are set to "reset to initial state" instead of "resume saved state". If you change this setting for all the quiz questions (see screenshot), learners will no longer be able to change their answer to the quiz questions and therefore you will no longer have the issue where the checkmark covers the X.
That does, Allison, thanks! What I was also hoping to do was put in a variable with conditions on the score, directing people back to the quiz main page to re-do the quiz if they scored below a certain amount, and direct them to the certificate page if they scored at or above a certain amount. I don't think that was in the template (currently participants are not able to change their answer on the questions answered incorrectly). Is there somewhere on this site that outlines how to do this?
Hi Allison - I had a bit of a struggle with this but got it figured out in the end. Thanks for all your help! It would have taken me a lot longer to figure out without this community!

I will try again! :-)
Sorry Brenda, I didn't see that you had gone back and added it to your previous post. I got it now! I'll take a look and let you know what I find.
