I have a transparent video (flv) with SL animations underneath. When you click the video in play it stops the video but the rest of the timeline keeps playing. So there's kinda of 2 timelines and one can be stopped independent of the other? Which I don't want.
Anyway to disable the stopping on click of the FLV?
When putting the transparent shape over it, make sure it's set to have a fill (any color) and then I set the transparency to 99% just to that there is something covering it - if you set the shape to have no fill, then it's doing just that and only having an outline and the user is still able to click on the video to stop it.
If you're still having difficulty could you share a copy of the .story file here with us?
You can actually set the transparency to 100% and this will still have the same effect. Just make sure you choose any colour then set it to 100% transparency, rather than picking no fill.
I agree that there should be an option within video tools to disable the pause when clicking on the video itself.
Thanks for popping in to share the solution that works for you Rob. I wanted to make sure that you knew that you are welcome to share your thoughts with our product development team here. Suggestions, ideas, wish list, etc :)

Try putting a transparent shape on top of your video.
Thx! I'll try that.
Did that and it does not work. I try to click the video and it stops, which it isn't supposed to the player should not be allowed to control playback.

Hi Ashley,
That worked. I have added a 1% fill of white, and this prevents me from clicking the video behind.
Odd that I cannot disable this feature in the Player, Video or Slide properties.
Glad that it worked for you Soren, and thanks for the update.
