When I've seen the logo disappear before, there was typically still a blank white place holder for it - a simple deletion of the logo in the player, and then reinserting and republishing should cause it to appear again. You'll also want to make sure you're following the steps here for inserting a logo and ensure you're working on local project files.
If you're still having difficulty, can you tell us how you're viewing the course - within the HTML5 output in Safari or the mobile player? We'll want to take a look at the .story file as well.
Thanks for the reply. I'm viewing in Safari on iPad and iPhone. There is just an empty square. I'm working locally and have done nothing unusual with the Player. Screengrabs attached.
Thanks Peter - I'm seeing the same thing with your file. Could you share the original image here as well? I'd like to look at readding it within your file and a new file?
The good news is that we have found a workaround. If after publishing, you put a copy of that logo.png file into the Mobile folder before then zipping all the files for upload, the logo appears.
This unfortunately means that publishing is more fiddly as you can't just use the Zip option in the Storyline publisher. So it would be a useful and pretty simple one for your tech guys to fix.
Thanks Peter for sharing the image. I downloaded it and reinserted it into your file previously posted and upload here to SCORM Cloud. I test it on my iPad mini in Mobile Safari running iOS 8.3 and it displayed as expected as you can see in the image below. Can you test out the version I uploaded here?
Yes that is working fine for me too. Did you put that logo file into the Mobile folder (see above) or did you just put it into the Player before publishing?
Just deleted the original logo in the player and added that one back in and republished. Were you inserting the logo from a local drive as well? I can't support any methods that include a modification of the published output - but if that's working for you I'd say go ahead and use it. :)
