After digging around, I've noticed this issue occurs in Windows 7. We've logged this issue as a software bug, and I'll include your comments in the report. To offer more detailed comments to my team, which version of Windows are you using? 

Also, are you noticing this in every project or just this specific one?

Hi Lauren, I'm on Windows 7, that is correct. It happens both on my desktop and my laptop (both Windows 7). Ah, Windows. SMH.

This happens in all projects. It also happens with my colleague's computer, and I believe she is also on Win 7, but not on the beta player.

For now, the workaround is to click on the gray area to display the Menu properties again.
