Display answers on seperate slide

Jun 01, 2017

Hello everyone,

I'm using Articulate Storyline for a short quiz of about 10 questions

I would very much like to have a seperate slide which states the given answers. This is kind of possible with the current 'results slide' but if I use this option it gives me the given answer slide by slide.

Does anyone know how I can create a slide which states the 10 answers (preferably also with a true/false)?

Thanks in advance :)

Hi Hans.

If you want to show the learner's answers, maybe a solution that will work for you is to set a variable each time the learner makes a selection, and then retrieve those variables on a Summary page. For example:

  • Create a (empty) variable that will correspond to each question slide, something like Q1Answer, Q2Answer... and so on.
  • if you are doing multiple choice questions, then for each radio button in the question, add an trigger to set the variable (On Click) for that slide to the value of the answer that is clicked. If they selected the choice "Peanut Butter" on the first question slide then that radio button sets the variable Q1Answer to "Peanut Butter".
  • Do that for all answer objects on all question slides.
  • On your Summary page, set up a group of text fields with the variables; %Q1Answer%, and so on.

If I understand what you are trying to do, then that should work.

Hope this helps.

Chris
