There is a lot of discussion about 4/3 or 16/9 ratio usage depending on target device.
We use a lot of stills in our productions. We want those to come right out to the edge with no borders. Most cameras produce 3/2 pictures and most stock photos are also supplied in that ratio. We want to as much as possible limit need for cropping so we are thinking 3/2 ratio display area.
Does anybody else use this ratio? Are there any issues that may crop up?
I haven't seen a lot of courses using the 3/2 aspect ratio, but if you're deploying for mobile such as the iPhone 4 or 4S, or Surface - that's the recommendation here.
