Display issue when opening in the app trying to learn and create

May 27, 2016

I feel pretty silly asking this, but any suggestions on enlarging the actual screen/text once opening Storyline?  I'm on Surface Pro, Win 10 and have tried everything I can think of under the Control Panel.  While I can generate enlarged display on all other apps (and painful to work with), but Storyline isn't impacted too much and still too small to learn/generate content.

I've logged off, restarted - everything I can think of.

Thanks - Cheryl (the newbie)

Hey Cheryl!  This is not a silly question at all.  This issue is a hot one for folks working with high resolution displays.  We have documentation regarding recommended DPI settings to make Storyline have an optimally sized interface.  We also have recently provided some additional information about how are team is working to improve the high resolution experience with Storyline.  I hope that gives you some guidance!

Appreciate the quick response.  My issue, just yet anyway, isn't so much resolution but the text is so small I'm unable to work with the tool.  The tool ribbon, for example, is about 1/4 inch, making it very hard to work with.

I did try reducing the display to 100% from 200% but as you can imagine this change made it worse.
